Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr.  Jimmy Rogers Wiggins, age 75, of Swainsboro, GA who died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Union Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Joyner, Rev. Lee Pettis and Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating. 

Mr. Wiggins will be in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers are Stephen Wiggins, Sean Craig, Jason Wiggins, Mike Wiggins, Jeff Wiggins,  Ronnie Dickey, and Jed Dye.

Mr. Wiggins was born in Jenkins County and had lived most of his life in Swainsboro, GA;  he was an Iron Worker, and a member of the Iron Workers Union #709.  Mr. Wiggins was a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Ollie Dailey Wiggins; two brothers, Harvey Wiggins, Jr. and Gordon Wiggins.

Survivors include: 

His Wife:  Betty Ann Bishop Wiggins of Swainsboro, GA

One Son:  Randy Wiggins (Karen) of Twin City, GA

Four Sisters:  Merlene Parker (Ves) of Okahumpka, FL, Euda Lee Deer and Shirley Herrmann (Gary) both of Millen, GA and Nellie Kate Oglesby (Bob) of Bloomingdale, GA

Three Brothers:  Larry Wiggins (Lynda) of Millen, GA; Donald Wiggins (Patsy) of Midville, GA; and Ronald Wiggins (Donna) of Twin City, GA.

Two Grand Daughters:  Anna Wiggins and Alexis Wiggins both of Twin City, GA.

Aunt Betty Ann, Randy and Family,

I am so sorry about the passing of uncle Jimmy. He's now gone to be with dad. He's in a better place, no more suffering, no more pain.
Its going to be hard knowing he's not there, It's still that way with me now, knowing dads not here, I miss him so much every day. We are going to make it with the help of the good lord. I will continue to pray for you all.

Betty Ann, Randy, Karen and girls, We are so sorry for the loss of Jimmy. He had a long struggle and he could not have had more loving care. Our deepest sympathy to each of you!
