Susan Darlene (Williams) Hood

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Susan Darlene "Susie" Hood, age 58, of Kite, GA, on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM, at Oak Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Hood and Rev. Lamar Kersey officiating.

Interment will follow in Moxley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, April 9, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are:  Randy McGowan, Danny McGowan, Jeff Newsome, Sherman Stapleton, Michael Thompson, and Mike McNeely.

Mrs. Hood was born May 17, 1960 in Swainsboro, GA, to Gerome Williams and the late Emmer Cooper.  She was retired with Crowntex Industries in Wrightsville, GA.  She attended Williams Chapel Baptist Church and loved spending time with family and her Grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Williams.

One Daughter:  Kelly Burgamy (Jottie) of Wrightsville, GA

Two Sons:  Brandon Hood and David Marshall Hood both of Kite, GA

One Half-Sister:  Wendy Kreutz of Richmond Hill, GA

Her Father:  Gerome Williams of Kite, GA

Her Step-Father:  Mr. James Lewis Cooper of Kite, GA

Nine Grandchildren: Little Susie Hood, Shayann Hood, Bre-Bre Hood, Dakota Hood, Audrey Hood, Bubba Hood, Katie Wilkerson and two Step-Grandchildren, Tayler Lane and Brandon Burgamy.
