Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Susan Jean Allman, age 72, of Kite, on June 10, 2024 at her home.
Memorial services for Mrs. Susan will be conducted at a later date.
Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Susan was the daughter of Harry Frederick, II. and Marian Frey Leiner. Coming from Florida, Susan and her husband came to Georgia in 2006.
Susan loved all dogs and for many years she had her own business and was the only dog groomer in Kite. Through the years she had had too many pet dogs to count. She also drove a school bus for Emanuel County Schools. Susan had a love for horses and her favorite was her Friesian stud horse, Steffen. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Patricia Thompson and Edith McDonald and one brother, Harry Frederick Leiner, III. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pruitt Health Hospice for their loving kindness and care during a difficult time.
Survivors include:
Husband: William P. Allman of Kite.
Daughter: Angela Henderson (Nickie) of Kite.
Brothers: Kenneth Leiner, and Kyle Leiner.
Grandchildren: Mackenzie Nicole Johnson, Michaela Cobb and Jake Hageman.
