Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Ms. Sonja Inez Taylor Canady, age 63, of Warner Robins, GA, on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel Rev. Keith Claxton officiating.
Entombment will be at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM till time of service.
Pallbearers are: Chad Mauldin, Waylon Wilson, Kerry Phillips, and Chuck Canady
Ms. Canady was born December 21, 1953 in Macon, GA, to the late Wilber and Velma Brownlee Taylor and lived most of her life in Cochran, Blakely County, GA. She was a 1972 graduate of Cochran High School, a caregiver, homemaker, loved reading her bible and was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Canady loved gardening, working in her yard and making sweet pickles, although her most treasured pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Taylor.

One Son: Derrick Canady (Jennifer) of Ft. Valley, GA
One Daughter: Jamie Canady Phillips (Chris) of Swainsboro, GA
One Sister: Diane Lyles
One Brother: W. D. Taylor (Connie) Boiling Brook, GA.
Two Grandchildren: Lanie Blair Phillips and Riley Tucker Yates Phillips, nieces, nephews and extended family.
