Sherry Lynn (Kottong) Turner

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Sherry Lynn Turner, 61, of Lake Sinclair, GA, on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Westwood Rehab in Evans, GA.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors, Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Franklin Sasser officiating.

Interment will follow at Eastbrook Mausoleum and Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service time.

Pallbearers are Curt Smith, Justin Hall, Rob Bowen, Brandon Bowen, David Usry and Dorsey Boatright.

Honorary Escorts are Jim and Rita Norris, Al and Gloria Richards, Loc and Tiffany Nyugen and their children, and Ray and Charlene Rafferty.

Sherry was born May 24, 1958 in Woodville Texas.  She was a 1976 Swainsboro High School graduate and retired business owner of Lollipop Day Care in Swainsboro.In addition to cooking and gardening; Sherry, along with her mother, loved bowling. She bowled with amateur leagues in Queen Tournaments for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Pete Kottong

Mother: Mary Abbott Kottong of Swainsboro, GA

Son: Trent Asten Turner and his fiancé, Riley Thompson of Roswell, GA

Brother: Jimmy Davis of Swainsboro, GA

Father-In-Law: John W. Turner

Sister-In-Law: Marilyn Turner

Brother-In-Law: Randy Turner
