Samson David Frew

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Samson David Frew, age 27, of Twin City, Emanuel County, GA on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

Memorial services will be Monday, February 13, 2023, at 6:00 PM in the Imago Dei Motorcycle Ministries near Manassas, GA. GPL address is 12111 Henry St. Claxton, GA. Ceremony will be Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM by the pond at their home, 294 GA  Hwy 192N, Twin City, GA. Samson was a gatherer, so all are welcome.

Mr. Frew, Samson, aka “Baloo”, deeply beloved son and brother, was born in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, GA, on December 16, 1995. He was employed as a pipe manufacture with W. L. Plastics of Statesboro, GA and was a student at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia, GA.  Samson “Baloo” was a ministry member and avid supporter of the Imago Dei Motorcycle Ministry and was passionate about his love, for his Lord and Savior. He didn’t tolerate the religious hypocrites of this world.  His love of his savior led him to want to create a boys ranch for the unloved and fatherless, a forever home. He was always ready and willing to help any in need and defend those who were unable to defend themselves.  Samson knelt for no man but he knelt for his King. Micah 7:8 Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.

His parents: Robert Allen and Rose Wilkins Frew of Twin City, GA

Brothers: Seth Allen Frew of Statesboro, GA, Solomon Walden Frew of Twin City, GA, Shadrach Michael Frew (Citlalli), Silas Adam Frew also of Twin City, GA and Zachary James Shollenberger of Statesboro, GA.

Maternal Grandmother: Josephine Lottie Giermanski of Seneca, SC.

God Mother: “Tia” Donna Pettibone.

God Sisters: Christin Serpone and Erica Hughes.

God Brothers: Stephen Pettibone and David Pettibone.
