Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Ruth E. Fagler of Swainsboro, GA, on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Community Hospice House in Vidalia, GA.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at 2:00 PM, in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday Evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
Pallbearers are: Tim Garrett, Robert Hood, Woody Nasworthy¸ Jimmy Dean Peebles, Jeff Overstreet, and Sheriff Tyson Stephens.
Honorary Escorts are Johnny Price and Sonny Hudson.
Mrs. Fagler was born in Swainsboro, GA to the late C. Talmadge and Annie Moxley Peebles. She worked in the Accounting Profession most of her life and was self-employed, she also worked in the Trucking Business for 25 years, having her own business for 10 years. Before returning home, Mrs. Fagler lived two years in North Carolina and approximately 35 years in Savannah. She enjoyed fishing, bowling and working in her yards. She was a member of Oak Chapel Baptist Church in Kite, GA. In addition to her Parents, Mrs. Fagler was preceded in death by her Brother, Ralph C. Peebles.
Survivors include:
Her Daughter, Jamie Parrish (Randy) of Swainsboro, GA
Two Grandsons: Robert Dustin Morris and Thomas Cole Morris.
Five Great-Grandchildren: Christa Morris, Journi Morris, Rayne Morris, Logan Fetterolfe and Savannah Morris.
