Rosalind (Moore) Adcock

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Rosalind Moore Adcock, age 81, of Clarksville, GA, on Monday, August 28, 2023, at the Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Elder Will Martin officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1832 Pleasant Hill Rd., Duluth, GA 30096.

Pallbearers are Chris Moore, Jr., Robert Moore III, Wesley Moore, Adam Moore, and John Moore.

Mrs. Adcock was born December 23, 1941, in Adrian, Emanuel County, GA, to the late Lonzie Lee and Irene Hammock Moore. She was a 1959 Graduate of Adrian High School and received her B.S in Nursing from Crawford Long School of Nursing.  Mrs. Adcock retired from Dr. Kaufman’s Cardiologist Office, where she was his head nurse for many years. She was a previous member of Adrian Baptist Church and in addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lewis Adcock; Two infant children; brothers, Robert Moore and Russell Moore; and nephew, Chris Moore, Sr.

Christopher N. Moore, Jr. (Morganne), Allison Moore Thompson (Justin), Kelly Evans (Harry), John Moore Mary Dawn), Michael Griggers (Christini), Robert L. Moore, III (Amy), Wesley Moore (Mary Georgia), Adam Moore (Lindsey), Christian Garner (Ashley), Devin Garner, Laura Garner and Jazmine Moore.

Sisters-In-Law: Iris Moore and Jean Curran.

Brother-In-Law: E.B. Adcock (Nancy).
