Ronald Ernest Fortier

Mr. Ronald Ernest Fortier, 82, of Augusta passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Charlie Norwood Medical Center in Augusta.  He was born April 18, 1943, in Waterbury, CT to the late Cyrille Fortier and Dorothy Eureka Fortier.  Mr. Fortier is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janet Fortier; brother, Cyrille Fortier, Jr.; sister, Judy McGrath. He served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his life partner, Idi Devaughn; son, Butch Fortier (Cindy); daughters, Debra Boyden (Eugene), Kim Castro, Dina Fortier; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 

No services are planned at this time.
