Robbie (Tanner) Mason

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of  Mrs. Robbie Tanner Mason, age 75, of Swainsboro, GA, on Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Pruitt Health Nursing Home.

Graveside Services will be held Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. Franklin Sasser officiating.

Pallbearers are: Kevin Tanner, Mitchell Tanner, Glenn Tanner, Tommy Graham, Bobby Mason, Stuart Mason, Freddie Mason and Jason Wiley.

Mrs. Mason was born January 14, 1944 in Soperton, Treutlen County, GA to the late Oscar Tanner and Annie Stewart Tanner. She was a hairdresser and co-owner of Mason's House of Beauty, and also employed by Ogeechee Mental Health.  Mrs. Mason enjoyed trying her hand at painting and spending time at Shellman Bluff. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Mason; two sisters, Joyce T. Graham, Hazel T. Martin; four brothers, Harold Tanner, Edward Tanner, Gene Tanner, Talmadge Tanner.

Survivors include:

Two Sons: Charles Edward "Chuck" Mason (Sandra Price Mason) of Statesboro, GA and Shannon Jack Mason of Swainsboro, GA

Two Grandchildren: Chet Mason, and Trevor Mason both of Statesboro, GA.
