Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Quenton “Rocky” Brown, age 67, of Stillmore, GA, on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ross Parker officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Interment will follow at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.

Pallbearers are:  William Coleman, Cordell Jones, Devin Jones, Jamie Riner, Seth Riner, Joe Wayne Walk and Matt Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Emanuel County Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Brown was born on July 2, 1950, in Swainsboro, Emanuel County,  Georgia, to the late Quenton Willie and Vietta Faircloth Brown.  Mr. Brown was raised by Lee and Madie Sanborn. He was retired with the United States Air Force.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by two Sisters, Barbara Jean Patrick and Deborah Stewart, and a Brother, Benton Brown.

Survivors include:

One Sister:  Vicki Tripp (Bill) of Aiken, SC

Special Friends:  James and Susan Youmans and Family

Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and extended family.
