Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Paul Ferdinand Pierre Jr., age 66, of Swainsboro, GA, on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Josh Black officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are encouraged for your safety and the health and well being of others.

Interment will be on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 11:00 AM, in San Lorenzo Cemetery, 1635 US-1, St. Augustine, FL 32084.

Pallbearers are: Alan Dykes and Deacons of Summertown Baptist Church.

Mr. Pierre was born October 21, 1954, in St. Augustine, FL., to the late Paul F. Sr. and Ann Gray Pierre.  He was retired and loved his family and Church. Mr. Pierre was a member of Summertown Baptist Church and in addition to his parents, was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Adams Pierre; son, Paul Ryan Pierre and sister, Yvonne Pierre.

Survivors Include:

Daughters: Susan Meeks of Swainsboro, GA and Michelle Cardenas of Daytona Beach, FL

Sons: Richard Lee Pierre (Anna) of MI and Steven Pierre of Swainsboro, GA

Sister: Denise Lee (Robert) of Seattle, WA

Former Son-In-Law: Francisco Cruz of Daytona Beach, FL

14 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild, nephews and extended family.
