Patricia (Spence) Hurd

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Patricia Hurd, age 73, of Midville, GA, on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Emanuel Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Union Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Carnley officiating.

Interment will be in the Union Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers are: Zach Raines, Gary Spence, Ronald Wiggins, Jody Cowart, Jay Gambrell, and Bo Headrick

Mrs. Hurd was born September 5, 1946 in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA to the late Carolyn Thelma Clark and Littleton Green Spence, Sr. She was a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church. She loved reading, flowers, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and taking care of others. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Littleton Green Spence, Jr.

Her Husband: Donald J. Wiggins of Midville, GA

Her Daughter: Donna Bowman of Midville, GA

Her Son: Stephen Spence Wiggins (Denise) of Midville, GA

Her Sister: Marsha S. Gambrell of Waynesboro, GA

Her Grandchildren: Johnna Raines (Curtis), Nikki Bowman, Kelley Bowman (Joe), Haley Black (Mitch), Paige Perryman, Levi Perryman, Alicia Wiersma (Dakota), and Avery Wiggins.

Her Great-Grandchildren: Zach Raines, Kinley Jersey, Mason McLean, Reelyn McLean, Rainleigh McLean, Abby Black, and Everest Wiersma.
