Mrs. Pamela “Pam” Bennett Jones, 59, of Louisville passed away, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at her residence. She was born on April 18, 1966, in Swainsboro to the late Dan Bennett and Martha Douglas Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Samuel “Rusty” Pritchard; and sister, Pennie Riner.
Pam was the baby of 4 children and affectionately known as “Baby Doll.” She grew up on a farm and enjoyed the simple joys of farm life. Pam graduated from Swainsboro High School in 1984 as an honor graduate and was salutatorian of her class. She chose to enter the work force and became a faithful employee in the retail world, then moved on to office work in the dentistry field. She was proud to be the mother of two sons which later led her to become a beloved Gammy. Pam loved BIG in her family and her circle of friends. She had a contagious smile and laughter. She enjoyed getting together and cooking for family and friends. Pam was a good cook which was passed down by her Mother and sister. She enjoyed working in her yards and tending to her flowers. Pam will be missed by so many.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Jones of Louisville; sons, Beau Pritchard (Taylor) of Nunez, Brock Pritchard (Heather) of Nunez; grandchildren, Ayden Pritchard, Ivy Pritchard, Weston Pritchard, Ellison Pritchard; brother, Doug Bennett (Teah) of Nunez; sister, Dana Kirby (Bruce) of Swainsboro; special uncle, Gene Bennett; brother-in-law, Charles Riner; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jim Harrell officiating.
Interment will follow in Youmans Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Durden - Hudson Funeral Directors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Corey Riner, Robert Riner, Paul Beasley, Bennett Pritchard, Nix Hooks, Caleb Brown, Kent Womack, Ebb Mccullough, and Matthew Mccullough.
Honorary Pallbearers include Kristie Grimm, Kimi Jackson, Debbie Fields, Kaycey Jackson, and Dr. Richard Zebell.
