Nila (Helton) Soles

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of  Mrs. Nila Soles, age 84, of Gardendale, AL, on Saturday, February 28, 2020 at University of Alabama Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Casey Shaw officiating.

Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service

Mrs. Soles was born January 26, 1936 in Layfayette, GA to the late Tom and Alpha Mae Adcock Helton. She loved Women’s Bible Study and watching the Hallmark Channel. She was a billing coordinator and retired from South Dade Pediatrics Office. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Doye Soles, and her sister, Mary Wilson.

Her Daughter: Carol Bollen (David “Buddy”) of Locust Fork, AL

Her Son: Keith Soles of Miami, FL

Her Grandchildren: Kate McGuire and Claire Valentine
