Mary N. (Trull) Smith

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of  Mrs. Mary N. Smith, age 79, of Swainsboro, GA, on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sardis Primitive Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6-8 PM and at the home of Ron Wommack.

Pallbearers are Wendy Farrow, Allen Johnson, Tim Smith, Dale Smith, Phil Smith, and Ben Smith.

Mrs. Smith was born February 9, 1940 to the late Edward and Vinnie Moore Trull in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA. She was a homemaker and devoted mother to her children, diligently caring for her special needs son. Mrs. Smith loved fishing, flower gardening, her animals, was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Johnny Ray Smith; and grandson, Michael Smith.

Survivors include:

One Daughter: Arlene Phillips (Wayne) of Soperton, GA

Five Sons: Ray Lofton of Pulaski, GA, James Smith of Savannah, GA, Kenneth Smith (Ann) of Midville, GA, Ricky Smith (Lucille) of McRae, GA and John Smith (Samantha) of Swainsboro, GA

Four Grandchildren: Ron Wommack, John Wommack, Teri Smith (Shawn), and Stephanie LeMaster (Jason).

Six Great-Grandchildren: Cody Wommack, Destini Smith, Shawn Smith Jr., Baylee Smith, Justin LeMaster, Savannah LeMaster, nieces, nephews and extended family.
