Mary Frances (Robertson) McKenzie

Durden Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Mary Frances Robertson McKenzie, age 87, of Swainsboro, on July 28, 2024 at Emanuel Medical Center.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Twin City with Elder Jim Bowen officiating.

Born in Emanuel County to Elsie Jackel and Polly Sutton Robertson, Mary lived her whole life in Swainsboro and Twin City. She worked and retired from Twin City Manufacturing after 42 years as a sewing machine operator. Mary was a member of and held the longest membership of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. Mary Frances knew everybody. In her later years, she loved to talk and spend time on the phone with her friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Washington McKenzie; a sister, Mattie Coleman and two brothers, Willard and Donald Robertson.

Survives Include:

Sister: Ruth McKenzie of Swainsboro.

A Host of Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
