Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Louise Martin, age 74, of Swainsboro, GA, on Monday, November 11, 2019, at Augusta University Medical Center

Mrs. Martin was born April 6, 1945 in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA to the late Randolf and Myrtle Tanner Hooks. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Martin loved her pets especially her cats, enjoyed playing games, working puzzle books, and watching TV. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Don Hooks, Bobby Hooks, Ray Hooks, and Jimmy Hooks.

Her Husband: Jerry Braddy of Swainsboro, GA

Her Daughter: Katie Anderson of Swainsboro, GA

Two Sons: Darrell Martin of Statesboro, GA and Darwin Martin of South Carolina

Three Brothers: Jerry Hooks of Swainsboro, GA, Alton Hooks (Glenda) of Kite, GA, and Larry Hooks of Garfield, GA

13 Grandchildren, 17 Great – Grandchildren, 2 Great – Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family
