Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Larry Williams, Sr., age 75, of Midville, GA, on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Burke Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Peebles - Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Billy Brinson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Interment will be in the Midville City Cemetery with full Military Honors.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Mr. Williams was born December 18, 1943 in Washington, Wilkes County, GA to the late Emory Leon Williams, Sr. and  Betty McCannon Green. He was retired from the United States Army with 20 years of service and he was a Baptist. Mr. Williams loved his cats and enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his stepfather, Morris Green; and a brother, Emory Williams, Jr.

Survivors Include:

One Daughter: Michelle Schmitt (Barry) of Lakeway, TX

One Son: Larry Williams, Jr. (Paige)  of Burleson, TX

Six Grandchildren

His Companion:  Linda Brown Sconyers of Midville, GA
