Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Larry “Reno” Riner, age 79, of Swainsboro, GA, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 14, 2022, at 3:00 PM in the Union Primitive Baptist Church with Corbin Wiggins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church, from 2:00-3:00 PM.
Pallbearers are Greg Riner, Will Riner, Ashley Denney, Zach Denney, Mitch Hall, Shawn Riner and Petey Amerson.
Honorary Pallbearers: M. L. Gay, Ronnie Sweat, Danny Kirk, Steve Tanner, Gene Hall, Rod Wiggins, Stevie Riner, and Daniels’ Creek Hunting Club Members.
Mr. Riner, “Reno” was born December 2, 1942, to the late Ira T. and Georgia Brinson Riner, in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA. He was a carpenter by trade and was previously employed by Vogel, and was owner/operator of Reno’s Seafood. “Reno” was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting; and was a member of the Daniels’ Creek Hunting Club. He enjoyed Georgia Football and NASCAR Racing. “Reno” had a very outgoing personality, and never met a stranger. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Denny Riner.

Daughter: LaRhee Davis (Corey) of East Dublin, GA.
Son: Tim Riner (Alice) of Swainsboro, GA
Brother: Ted Riner (Jan) of Portal, GA
Sister-In-Law: Shirley Riner of Swainsboro, GA.
Grandchildren: Blaze Riner, Rolan Riner, Layla Hall and Cleveland Davis
