Kimberly Shea (Deel) Edenfield

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Kimberly Shea Deel Edenfield, age 53, of Kite, GA, on Monday, October 19, 2021, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 3:30 PM at Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Phil Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery near Kite, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers are Kenneth Meeks, Jerry Hall, John Peebles, Michael Terry, Hunter Moore, and Walter Nasworthy.

Mrs. Edenfield was born April 23, 1968, in Pikeville, Kentucky, to the late Brenda Carol Bulloch Deel Goff and the late Jerry Clayton Deel. She received a Bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State University. Kim was a loving mother, wife, sister and friend, always there to listen, knowing what to say, and gave the best hugs. She enjoyed painting, drawing, photographing the beauty of nature, was an excellent cook, and loved all animals.  Kim was selfless by nature, her happy place was the beach and she could find beauty in all things. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Opal Bulloch; paternal grandparents, Julius and Elaine Deel; and step-father, Ronnie Golf.

Husband: James Darrell Edenfield of Kite, GA

Daughter: Jillian Dae Edenfield of Savannah, GA

Sons: Jackson Deel Edenfield of Kite, GA and Jacob Edenfield (Jamie) of Savannah, GA

Sister: Amber Dawn Deel Price of Pounding Mill, VA.

Step-Mother: Dixie Deal of Wytheville, VA.

Step-Brother: Josh Justus of Wytheville, VA.

Grandchildren: MaKenley Gray Edenfield and Otto Edenfield.
