Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Kathy Diane Farmer Youngblood, age 73, of Swainsboro, GA, on Monday, April 13, 2020 at her residence.
A private graveside service will be conducted Thursday at Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ervin Stapleton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Farmer, Wesley Peebles, Carl Roghelia, Dylan Dixon and Michael Oglesby.
Born is Swainsboro in 1946, Kathy was the daughter of Joe and Ida Mae Faircloth Farmer. She worked for many years at Otasco True Value, but retired from Emanuel County Voter Registration Office. Kathy was very social, she loved talking to people and was truly a good listener. She loved writing and she loved planting flowers. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and a son; Michael Todd Durden.

Step-Daughter: Lynn Duvall (Lee) of North Augusta.

Brother: Joe Farmer (Gwen) of Swainsboro, GA
Grandchildren: Aidan and Anna Thurman and Melanie and Dana Duvall
