Katherine Delaine Garnto Maglioli

Durden Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Katherine Delaine Garnto Maglioli, 82, of Swainsboro, who passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Pruitt Health in Swainsboro.

Delaine was born September 22, 1942, in Dublin to the late Riley Morris Garnto and Dorothy Lee Brantley Garnto. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mickey Garnto.  Delaine attended Georgia Southern University and Massey Business College in Atlanta.  She loved Christmas and crocheting.  She was a court reporter for 36 years. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.  Delaine was a member of Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church. 

Delaine is survived by her nephew, Ryan Garnto (Merrit) of Leesburg; great-nephews, Andrew Garnto, Grady Garnto, Chapman Garnto; several cousins and many friends. 

Funeral Services will be held at Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Elder Robbie Dollar officiating.

Interment will follow at Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dustin Davis, William Burke, Travis Akridge, Brice Hobbs, Brian McSween, John Dorminey, John Brantley and Kevin Brantley.
