Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Ms. Judyth “Judy” Gray Fennell, age 75, of Swainsboro, GA, on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at her residence.
Graveside services will be Friday, December 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM, in the Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. Phil Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
Ms. Fennell, Judy was born August 22, 1947, in Millen, Jenkins County, GA., to the late Milton B. Sr. and Ida Mae Davis Gray and was a graduate of Swainsboro High School. Judy was a member of the Swainsboro First United Methodist Church. She was a dog groomer for Swainsboro Animal Clinic with Dr. Robert Screws for many years, before retiring from Emanuel County Board of Education as a Paraprofessional. Judy enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching classic TV shows. Her greatest accomplishment was her family and her greatest joy was spending time with them. In addition to her parents Judy was preceded in death by her sisters, Debora Gray and Bonnie Gray; and brother, Jeff M. Gray.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Kim Stevens, and Kellie Jo Meeks (Kenneth) all of Swainsboro, GA.
Son: Christopher Fennell (Racheal) of Savannah, GA
Brother: Milton B. Gray Jr. (Tammy) of Swainsboro, GA.
Grandchildren: Nikki Stevens, Seagi Stevens, Shanna Stevens, Sully Stevens, Grayson “Gray” Mendieta, Kenlie Meeks, Gracie Fennell, and Presley Fennell.
14 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
