Mrs. Jackson was born January 24, 1943 in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA, to the late Lonzie and Madie Henry Scarboro.  She attended Swainsboro High School and was previously employed with Winn Dixie until its closing. She was the glue of her family; once a member of her family, you were always her family and cared for dearly.  Mrs. Jackson was an avid yard seller; collector of Cookie Jars, Depression and Carnival Glass, and Tea Cups.  She made every occasion special, even afternoon sweets and coffee with the grandchildren, who had their own special tea cup for the event. Sunday dinner was a family event and Christmas was her favorite holiday, which she made extra special. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Alvin J. Jackson; sisters, Adele Chalker and Martha Amerson; and daughter-in-law, Sabrina Jackson.
