Joann Brown

Mrs. Joann Brown, 79, of Inman, South Carolina passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.  She was born November 14, 1946, in Swainsboro to the late Grady Brown and Lucindia Davis Brown.  Joann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Todd; son, Joseph Larry Jones.

Joann loved to travel, especially to St. Augustine.  She was a good cook and a #1 fan of Alabama Crimson Tide.

Survivors include her daughters, Tonya Davis (Daniel Lynelle) of St. Mary’s, Teresa Young (Fred) of Spartanburg, SC; daughter-in-law, Frieda Jones of Baxley; grandchildren, Dylann Jones, Leianne Meeks, Tre Lavone Young, Alexis Young, Taylor Shea, Tyler Bohannan; six great-grandchildren; and many friends.

Graveside Service will be 2 P.M. Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church cemetery with Lay speaker/Grandson Tyler Bohannan officiating.
