Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Jimmy F. Clemens, age 74, of Garfield, GA, on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Cedar Plantation in Metter, GA.
Private memorial services will be at a later date.
Mr. Clemens was born February 15, 1947, in Gladewater, TX., to the late Harold Eugene Clemens and Doris Dees Clemens. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. Mr. Clemens was a dedicated member of the Garfield Baptist Church, serving as Sunday School Director and Deacon for many years. He was a member of the Garfield Volunteer Fire Department for 30 plus years, enjoyed camping and fishing with family and extended family (friends who became family). He was preceded in death by his father.

Wife of 50 Years: Brenda Toole Clemens of Garfield, GA
Sons: David Carroll Clemens (Victoria) and Dane Eugene Clemens (Diana McKinley) all of Garfield, GA
Mother: Doris Dees Clemens of Garfield, GA
Sister: Ruth Ann Maxwell of Swainsboro, GA
Brother: Noel Eugene Clemens of Pampa, TX
Grandchildren: AnnaKade Clemens, Briley Brooke Clemens, Brayden Si Clemens, and Tinley Brenna Clemens.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contribution be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 201 Television Circle, Savannah, GA 31406.
