Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Jeanine Carter Reddish, age 91, of Swainsboro, GA, on Tuesday, January 05, 2021, at her home.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 2-3PM at the home of Mrs. Jeanine Reddish.  Due to the Covid 19 directives, the family wants you to be safe and use you on discretion.

CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are encouraged for your safety and the health and well being of others.

Mrs. Reddish was born January 25, 1929, to the late Augustus and Mary Ina Jordan Carter, in Jesup, Wayne County, GA. She was employed by the Swainsboro High School Library and the East Georgia College Library as an assistant Librarian for many years, was an avid gardener, and loved to read.  Mrs. Reddish was a member of the Swainsboro First Baptist Church, The Swainsboro Country Club, enjoyed playing golf and the Saturday night dances.

Daughters: Cecilia R. Thompson (Phil) and Deborah Burrows, her special caregiver, all of Swainsboro, GA

Sons: Richard M. Reddish (Phyllis) and Robert S. Reddish all of Swainsboro, GA

Brother: Chris Carter (Becky) of Statesboro, GA

Four Grandchildren: Jennifer R. Coulter (Jeremy), Michael Reddish (Rebekah), Seth Schrader and Stephanie Reddish.

Four Great Grandchildren: Peyton Coulter, Claire Coulter, Gavin Reddish and Conner Reddish.
