Durden Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Jeanette Daniels Johnson, 96, of Appling, who passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Madison Heights in Evans, Georgia. 

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Justin Gambrell officiating.

Mrs. Jeanette D. Johnson was born in Garfield, on November 11, 1928, to Mr. Charlie Daniels and Missouri Deal “Zudie” Daniels. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, Bernie Lee Johnson; brother, Ernest Daniels; sisters, Ila Mae Turner, Nell Daniels Webb.

Jeanette and Bernie made their home in Ellenwood, GA and she retired from Dekalb County School System.

Survives Include:

Two Sons: Greg Johnson (Pam) of Appling, Gary Johnson of Ellenwood

Five Grandchildren: Laura Avery, Greg Johnson, Jr. (Julie), Ashley Dixon (Clark), Daniel Johnson (Miranda), Meagan Lee (Ryan)

Eight Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews
