Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Jack John McCullough, age 90 of Swainsboro, GA, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating and Rev. Louis Pearce assisting.
Interment will follow in the Odom Cemetery near Rockledge, GA in Laurens County.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 4, 2021, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Jack was born February 20, 1931, to the late John and Katherine Gillia McCullough in Rockport, IN. He served his country aboard the USS Hector, USS Princeton and USS Willis A Lee., in the U. S. Navy with total active service of 19 plus years, and over 4 years served in Foreign Service. Mr. Jack was a devoted Christian and member of the Canoochee Missionary Baptist Church, member of the Masonic organization for many years and in addition to his parents, was preceded in death by wives: Exie P Powell Machaby McCullough and Maxine Sweat Carter McCullough; and step-son, Wayne Carter.

Daughter-In-Law: Gail Carter of Metter, GA
Sister: Natalie Crane of Raleigh, NC
Brother: Jerry McCullough (Janice) of Raleigh, NC
Special Christian Brother & Sister: Corbin and Teresa Wiggins of Swainsboro, GA.
7 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandchild, nieces, nephews and extend family.
