Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Herman L. Jones, age 72 , of Twin City, GA, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA.

Mr. Jones was born April 26, 1949 in Swainsboro, GA, Emanuel County, GA to the late Robert Lester “R.L.” and Ruby Randall Jones. He grew up in Canoochee, GA. He enjoyed helping out and “working” on Allen Farms. When he wasn’t riding on his gator, he liked to fish. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Martha Dean, and brother, Wilder Jones.

Survivors Include:

Brothers: Randall Jones (Sandra) of Wadley, GA and James Ray Jones of Twin City, GA

Sister: Hazel Lynn Pogue of Navarre, FL

Step-Daughter: Hazel Chambers of Metter, GA

Several Nieces, Nephews, and extended family
