Helen Elizabeth (Deal) Johnson

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Deal Johnson, age 87, of Swainsboro, GA, on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at The Oaks in Vidalia, GA.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020, at 2:00 PM in the Midville City Cemetery with Rev. Andy Carter.

Pallbearers are Lanier Holland, Cody Curl, Justin Curl, Austin Curl, Will Jarriel, and Gary Hall.

Mrs. Johnson was born January 18, 1933 in Emanuel County, GA to the late Purvis and Virginia Drew Deal. She was a member at Calvary Methodist Church in Swainsboro, GA. She loved yard working, talking, and spending time with her family. She formerly worked at Swainsboro Print Works, and retired from Roper. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert E. Johnson, daughter, Ginger Harden, and son, Joey Coleman.

Brother: Purvis Deal, Jr. (Kathy) of Garden City, GA

Grandchildren: Tisha Holland (Bob)of Collins, GA,  Joey Curl (Angela) of Senatobia, MS, and Brian Curl (Heather) of Collins, GA

Great-Grandchildren: Chelsea Holland Jarriel (Will), Lanier Holland, Cassidy Holland, Hope Duncan, Cody Curl, Justin Curl, Brittney Blizzard (Dillon), and Austin Curl (Baylee).

Great-Great Grandchildren: Leo Duncan, Beau Blizzard, Kipp Blizzard, and Bentlee Curl.
