Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Harold Beecher, Sr., age 82,

of Twin City, GA, on Monday, February 11, 2019, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM, in Riverside Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida with Brother Terry Williamson officiating.   

Mr. Beecher was born September 22, 1936, in Baxley, Appling County, GA to the late Gordon and Donie McDaniel Beecher.  He was a retired truck driver and a member of Jacksonville, Florida Local Teamsters Union #512.  Mr. Beecher was a member of Canoochee Baptist Church and The Men’s Prayer Group. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Beecher was predeceased by one son, Harold “Buddy” Beecher, Jr.; two sisters, Eunice Jacobs and Lorene Brown; four brothers, Edice, Edsel, Cecil, and L.G.

The family will receive friends at Riverside Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 1:00 PM.

One Daughter:  Jeannie Roberta Williamson (Terry) of Jacksonville, Florida

Three Sisters:  Henrietta Campbell (Bill) and Carolyn Hazzard  (Junior) both of Baxley, GA and Roberta Williams of Glennville, GA

Two Grandchildren:  Matthew Williamson and Tracy Baerman

Two Great-Grandchildren:  Nikki Golden and Tristan Baerman
