Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Harmon Onis (Buck) Hunter Jr. on August 4, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Muskogee, OK.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Cobbtown First Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Trent officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 11, 2018 also at the Cobbtown First Baptist from 10:00 AM till time of service.
Mr. Hunter was a born in Tattnall County, GA to the late Harmon Onis Sr. and Mollie (Lynn) Hunter. He was a 1958 graduate of Collins High School, proudly served his country in the U. S. Marines as an electronic technician and retired from IBM Corporation and Georgia/Power Southern Company. Mr. Hunter enjoyed farming, raising cows and horses, never met a stranger, and would do anything for his fellow man. In addition to his parents was preceded in death by his sisters, Jewel Harvey, Doris Collins, Annie Groover and Josie Lanier.

His wife of 34 years: Vada Milner Hunter of Muskogee, OK
Two Sons: Kenny Hunter (Kandy) of Collins, GA and Ross Hunter of Ft. Gibson, OK
Two Daughters: Mollie Smith (Cliff) of Swainsboro, GA and Stephanie Blizzard (Darrell) of Reidsville, GA
Special nephew: David Groover (Marie) of Nevils, GA
Eight Grandchildren: Matthew Blizzard (Ashley), Dillon Blizzard, Steven Blizzard (Ashley), Emily Smith, Tyler Smith, Kevin Hunter, Trevor Hunter, and Gavin Hunter.
Three Great-Grandchildren: Henzlee Blizzard, Beau Blizzard, Maycee Blizzard, nieces, nephews and extended family.
