Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Gary Alexander Moseley, “Alex”, age 59, of Garfield on Sunday, June 16, 2024.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 5:00 PM in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery on Old McLeod Bridge Road with Pastor George Rhodes officiating. Alex requested that everyone dress comfortably for the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 6 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Employees of Twin City Precision Metals, his Golfing Buddies and the remainder of his Friends and Family, living and deceased.
Mr. Alex was born December 22, 1964 in Douglas, Coffee County, GA to the late Malcolm Joseph Moseley, Jr. and Hazel Cowart Moseley. He was a founder of and recently retired employee of Twin City Precision Metals. Alex was a loving and dutiful husband who served his late wife of 33 years, Patricia Ann Moseley, until the time of her passing in 2023. Alex was also a caring and protective father and "paw-paw". He enjoyed golfing, driving his Corvette, and spoiling his youngest grandchild, Noah James Moseley.
Survivors include:
Son: James Moseley (Ashley) of Garfield.
Daughters: Brandi Moseley Fountain (Sammy) of Twin City, and Jessie Moseley of Garfield.
Brothers: “Joe” Moseley (Bonnie) of Summertown and John Moseley (Nancy) of Statesboro.
Sister: “Abby” Moseley of Corbin, KY.
Grandchildren: Shyam Patel, Ohm Patel, Haley Patel, Lane Fountain, and Noah Moseley.
Many Nieces, Nephews, and Extended Family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to either of the following nonprofit organizations: the American Heart Association, who performs research into the detection, prevention, and cure of heart-related health conditions, or the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes, an organization of which Alex was a longtime and regular donor.
Cemetery Directions: From Swainsboro, take 80 West, Crossover the Bi-Pass and continue straight on, Take to Old McLeod Bridge Road which is the Second paved road to the Right, Go about 3-4 Miles and find Hebron Baptist Church on the Left.
