Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Esther Bristow, age 57 of Kite, GA, on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at her Residence.

Memorial Services will be Monday, April 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Hawhammock Baptist Church with Rev. Cail Pressey officiating.

Honorary Escorts will be Hawhammock Ladies Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Bristow was born October 12, 1961 in Augusta, Richmond County, GA to the late Scott Schmid and Mrs. Helen Brett Schmid. She was a 1979 graduate of Swainsboro High School and was a member of the Swainsboro High School Marching Band.  Mrs. Bristow was an RN and previously employed by the Emanuel Medical Center and Eastside Medical Regional Center.  She was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and was a member of the Hawhammock Baptist Church.

Her Husband of 20 years: Tommy Bristow of Kite, Ga

Her Mother:  Helen Brett Schmid of Kite, GA

Three Daughters: Bailey Bristow of Kite, GA, Carla Bristow and Traci Nelson (Chris) all of Madison, GA

Three Sons: Nicholas Dominguez of Tucson, AZ, Clayton Williams of Miami, FL and Stein Bristow (Tazmyra) of Lawton, OK

Two Brothers: Stewart Watson (Evelyn) of Charlotte, NC and Andy Schmidt of Wellsville, NY.

Thirteen Grandchildren: Nathaniel Dominguez, Charlotte Nelson, Copeland Nelson, Keegan Walker, Dailey Byrd, Georgia Byrd, Stein Norman Bristow, Westin Bristow, Braxton Bristow, Hudson Bristow, Sadie Bristow, Gage Michael Bristow, Grayson Mueller, nieces, nephews and extended family.
