Elaine S. McMillan

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Ms. Elaine S. McMillan, age 75, formerly of Louisville, GA, on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Brother Chris Mosley and Rev. William Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery in Twin City, GA

The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM

CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are encouraged for your safety and others

Pallbearers are Tim Oliver, Jeremy Oliver, Ridge Henry, Brandon Albor, Kevin Johnson and Jordan Albor.

Ms. McMillan was born May 31, 1945 to the late Theo and Nellie Bunn Stille in Millen, Jenkins County, GA.  She attended ECI (Emanuel County Institute) was very athletic;  playing on the ECI basketball team, ECI Powder Puff Football team, Jefferson and Emanuel County softball recreation teams, as well as coaching for Jefferson County Recreation Department.  Ms. McMillan retired from the Jefferson EMC as an Executive Secretary and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Louisville, GA.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Jackson and special fur babies Dash and Pete.

Survivors Include:

Daughter: Charla Cobb (Jason) of Bartow, GA

Sons: Randy Scott (Vera) of Kite, GA and Terrell McMillan (Kim) of Louisville, GA

Sisters: Sandra Mosley (Royce) and Bobbi Mosley (Chris) all of Cobbtown, GA and Shirley Brown (Keith) of Lizella, GA

Brother: Bruce Stille (Jean) of Macon, GA

Grandchildren: Scarlett Scott, Ridge Henry, Auriel Nabb, Cody McMillan, Kyle McMillan, Caitlyn Cobb, Aiden Cobb, Ty Cobb, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Faithful and loyal friend who was by her side throughout her 21 years of illness: Frank Ethridge.
