Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Durinda Glover Jackson, age 65,

of  Twin City, GA, on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Hospice House in Savannah, GA

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. William Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow in Coleman-Twin City Cemetery

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, August 2, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers are:  Dresden Sneddon, Kaleb Sneddon, Stephen Boone, Jeffrey Jackson, Jr., Tim Oliver and Jeremy Oliver.

Mrs. Jackson was born January 15, 1953, in Atlanta, DeKalb County,Georgia to the late Dwight and Clyde Juanita Hall Glover.   She was a Certified Nurse Assistant and also worked as cook at The Huddle House in Swainsboro.  Mrs. Jackson enjoyed cooking,  working with Word Search and she was a member of the Twin City Church of God.      

Survivors include:

Her Husband:  Don Jackson of  Twin City, GA

One Daughter:  Alicia Eckardt (David Ray Sherwood) of Atlanta, GA

One Son:  Brandon Eckardt (Geri) of Des Moines, Iowa

One Step-Daughter:  Courtney Jackson Carter of Lyons, GA

Two Step-Sons:  Jeffrey Jackson of Lyons and Rev. William Everett Jackson (Heather) of Lyons, GA

Three Brothers:  Sam Glover, Alton Glover and Edward Glover.

Four Grandchildren:  Dresden Sneddon, Kaleb Sneddon both of Atlanta, GA and  Anna Kayte Eckardt, Judah Shiloh Eckardt both of Des Moines, Iowa.
