Durden Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Donald Joseph Wiggins, 81, of Midville, who passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, at PruittHealth in Swainsboro.
Donald was born January 11, 1944, in Millen to the late Harvey Wiggins and Ollie Daily Wiggins. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother of his children, Patricia Ann Spence; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Donald loved the outdoors, fishing, and riding on his golf cart. He worked as a mechanic at Jockey International in Millen.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Spence Wiggins (Denise) of Midville; daughter, Donna T. Wiggins of Midville; brothers, Ronald Wiggins (Donna) of Twin City, Larry Wiggins of Millen; sisters, Shirley Herman (Gary), Euda Lee Deer, both of Millen, Nellie Kate Oglesby (Bob) of Pooler; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at Union Grove Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Carnley officiating.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services.
Interment will be at Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mike Wiggins, Jason Wiggins, David Reeves, Joe Powers, Chris Carr and Gary Spence.
