Debbie J (Johnson) Price

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Debbie Johnson Price, age 92, of Swainsboro, GA, passed away on Friday, December 01, 2021, at Scott Health and Rehabilitation in Adrian, GA.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Garfield, GA. with Elder Sam Bowen officiating.

CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are encouraged for your safety and the health and well being of others.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Johnson, Mike Johnson, William Riner, Ricky Williams, Winton Johnson and Tyler Womack.

A native to Jenkins County, Mrs. Price was the daughter of the late Epy Hyman and Eliza Wiggins Johnson. Debbie worked most of her life at garment plants and was an exceptional seamstress. She loved to sew. Mrs. Price retired in 1985 due to a bad car accident. She was a member of Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church in Emanuel County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Anderson Price; infant son, Ricky Lewis; four sisters, Ruby J. Patrick, Marie Womack Craft, Ruth J. Kent and Betty J. Woods; four brothers, Otis Johnson, Billy Fern Johnson, Joseph Johnson and Dan Johnson. The family would like to give special recognition to Emanuel County Senior Center and offer a thank you to Dr. Cedric Porter.

Survivors Include:

Sister: Bernice J. Williams of Glennville, GA.

Brother: James Johnson of Twin City, GA.

Many Nieces, Nephews and extended family.
