Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of  Ms. Danette Davis, age 63, of Garfield, GA, on Monday, August 12, 2019, at Emanuel Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church of Twin City, GA with Rev. Max Rodgers officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Garfield, GA with Rev. Randy Adams officiating

The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Twin City on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM till time of service.

Ms. Davis was born November 23, 1955 in Savannah, Chatham County, GA to the late James Daniel and Mary Helen Johnson Womack and lived most of her life in Emanuel County. She was a 1973 graduate of ECI (Emanuel County Institute) and received her Associates Degree from (ECJC) Emanuel County Junior College, now East Georgia State College. She worked over 30 years with the Swainsboro Social Security Office and retiring as Office Manager. Ms. Davis loved to travel, spend time with family and friends, and was an avid shopper and fashionista.

Her Sister: Pam Drake (Chris) of Garfield, GA

Niece: Maggie Forehand (Tanner) of Garfield, GA

Nephew: James Drake of Garfield, GA

Great Niece: Emmalyn Forehand of Garfield, GA

Her Fur Baby:  Galliger
