Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Connie Waller Sconyers, age 71 of Twin City, GA on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Gray officiating.
Interment will follow in the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 29, 2022, one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM.
Pallbearers are Ronnie Mills, James Slater, David Sconyers, Eddie Andrews, Joe Leeb, Scott Livingston.
Mrs. Sconyers, Connie, was born August 15, 1951, in Dublin, Laurens County, GA., to the late Jerome and Lois Caraway Waller and was a 1969 graduate of Swainsboro High School. She was previously employed by Delores & Woody Shops; Citizens Bank of Swainsboro and retired from Farmers Furniture Co. Connie enjoyed gardening and the gardenia was her favorite flower; however going to Panama City Beach was her favorite pastime, often enjoying a good book, mysteries, thrillers and the occasional romance. She was a great cook and loved cooking for her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerome “Jerry” Waller Jr.

Her Loving Husband of 50 years: Carl Thomas Sconyers of Twin City, GA
Daughter: Carla Hope Sconyers Riner (Erick) of Statesboro, GA
Son: Thomas Ryan Sconyers (Amy) of Twin City, GA
Grandchildren: Emily Riner, Lauren Riner, London Riner, Lydia Sconyers and Extended Family.
