Clairena (Bishop) Greenway

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Clairena Bishop Greenway, age 95, of Swainsboro, GA on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

Private Graveside services will be in the Eastbrook Cemetery with Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating.

Mrs. Greenway was born January 11, 1925, in Augusta, Richmond County, GA, to the late Remer P. and Nellie E. Hill Bishop. She was retired from Swainsboro Sportswear after 27 years, was a member of the Swainsboro First Baptist Church, loved fishing with her late husband, Walter Greenway and loved cooking.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Niagara Gay and Lourea Parks.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Maxie Anne Keidel of Swainsboro, GA

Granddaughter: Terrie Aldridge Walker (David) of St. Marys, GA

Great-Grandchildren: Zan Leakway, Sloane Walker, Lauren Walker, Ryan Walker, Adrian Walker, nieces, nephews and extended family
