Brenda Toole Clemens

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Brenda Toole Clemens, age 79, of Garfield, on January 28, 2025 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Garfield with Reverend Ben Gay officiating.

Brenda was born in Savannah, Georgia to Carroll Earl and Grace Viola Byington Toole.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 50 years, Jimmy Fred Clemens.  She was a member of Garfield Baptist Church where she attended and played the piano.  Brenda was a teacher for 34 years and worked at Swainsboro Elementary School.  She loved her grandchildren, enjoyed sewing and drag racing.  Brenda was an only child, and it was said that "She liked things her own way and in her own time".

Survivors include her sons, David Carroll Clemens (Victoria) and Dana Eugene Clemens (Diana McKinley) all of Garfield; grandchildren, AnnaKade Marie Clemens, Briley Brooke Clemens, Brayden Si Clemens, Tinley Brenna Clemens
