Brenda (Mikell) Paige

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of  Mrs. Brenda Paige, age 76, of Twin City, GA, on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Emory University Hospital in North East Atlanta.

Graveside Services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum with Rev. Chris Holt officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are encouraged for your safety and the health and well being of others.

Born in Savannah, GA to Charles E. and Mary Lou Robbins Mikell, Brenda grew up in Metter, GA. She has been a resident of Emanuel County since 1994. Brenda worked as a clerk at the gift counter at Wilson Pharmacy of Swainsboro for over ten years. She loved flowers and was a gardener with a green thumb. Brenda had many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed anything from woodworking and jewelry making to carving wood and refinishing furniture. Brenda was a jack of all trades and was an extremely talented artist. She could even install her own ceiling fans. “She probably has more saws and tools than Swainsboro Supply”. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, and "Nana". She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Herrington, and a brother, Billy Mikell.

Survivors Include:

Husband of 20 years: Charles E. Paige of Twin City, GA.

Daughters: Connie Huffman of Elgin, Oklahoma, and Elaina B. Wilkes (Charles) of Twin City.

Sons: Tony L. Beasley of Aiken, SC, and Bruce Paige (Danielle) of Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Sister: Donna Lynn (Donald) of Register, GA.

Grandchildren: Haley Landers (Chance), Wyatt Huffman (Shelby), Skyler Wilkes,  Grace Beasley, Savannah Paige and Noah Paige.

Great-Grandchildren: Case Landers, Callen Landers, and Waylon Huffman.
