Bradley Kevin Jones

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Bradley K. "Brad" Jones, age 51, of Kite, GA on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Bethel United Methodist Church near Kite, GA with Elder Lindy Webb officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sardis Primitive Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home  Friday evening from 5-7 PM

Mr. Jones will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Jones was born January 31, 1967 in Augusta, Richmond County, GA and graduated from North Augusta Senior High School.  He attended USC (University of South Carolina) and graduated from Jacksonville State in AL; and was employed as a teacher with Effingham Career Center. Mr. Jones was a member of ACTE (Association for Career and Technical Education, Skills USA;  he enjoyed golf, fishing, and as an avid Clemson Fan, his favorite past time was rooting them on to victory.  He was a member of the Sardis Primitive Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Jones; paternal grandparents, Raiford and Georgia Bell Jones and maternal grandparents, Lonzie and Madie Scarboro.

One Son: Ayrron Jones of  Kite, GA

His Mother: Jean Scarboro Jones of Swainsboro, GA

One Brother: Scott Jones of North Augusta, SC

Mother-In-Law: Eleanor Nasworthy of Kite, GA

Brother-In-Law: Walter Nasworthy of Kite. GA
