Betty A (Morrison) Kitchens

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Betty A. Morrison Kitchens, age 69, of Swainsboro, GA on Sunday, January 28, 2018.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Lambs Cemetery with Rev. Emory Fennel officiating.

Pallbearers are Jeffery Wiggins, A.J. Dudley, Heath Dudley, Robbie Dudley, and Eric Morrison.

Mrs. Kitchens was born January 17, 1949 in Swainsboro, Emanuel County GA. to the late James and Nora Mae Heath Morrison. Betty retired after working many years in home health and at Dolores and Woody’s. She was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. Betty was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Dale “Buck” Bush and second husband, Charles A. Kitchens.

Survivors include:

Two Daughters: Gerri Dudley of Swainsboro, GA and Sue Wiggins (Jeff) of Peru, IL.

One Son: James Bush (Jodi) of Dublin, GA

One Brother: James Larry Morrison (Frances) of Midville, GA

Ten Grandchildren, Fifthteen Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
