Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Betty Hall Anderson, age 96, of Twin City, GA, on April 21, 2021, at her residence.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Twin City First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Perry officiating.

Mrs. Anderson was born January 1, 1925 in Miami, Florida to the late William, Jr. and Annie Laurie Rountree Hall. She was a member of the Twin City First Baptist Church. Mrs. Anderson loved attending her Sunday School class and being with her Sunday School classmates. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ. One of Mrs. Anderson’s greatest loves was her 32 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing golf, cards, the beach, and going to Biloxi, Mississippi. Mrs. Anderson retired as an LPN from Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Anderson, her son, Samuel Joseph Overstreet, III, two sisters, Lottie Jean Hall and Mary Lerwick, granddaughter, Jody Anne Whetsell, daughter-in-law, Patsy Overstreet, and step-son, Robert W. Anderson, Jr.
Survivors Include:
Her Daughters: Jann Henry of Twin City, GA, Jeannie Moxley (Tommy) of Shellmans Bluff, GA, and Judy Whetsell (John) of Twin City, GA.
Her Step-Son: Bill Anderson (Renee) of Florida
32 Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren
