Mrs. Barbara Jean Robinson, 75, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday evening, May 22, 2025, while under care of Pruitt Hospice.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Parks, Sr., and Myrtis Thigpen Adams, and her siblings, Nancy (Ron) Baker, Florretta (H.T) Clifton, and Floyd, Jr., (Barbara) Adams.
Mrs. Barbara was a lab technician for many years at Emanuel County Medical Center, and she was a member of the Midville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Thomas “Tommy” Robinson, of Midville, her children, Jamie (Tabatha) Bennett of Garfield, Bess Bennett of Summertown, and Alyssa (Brian) Fowler of Douglasville, her grandchildren, Tristan Bennett, Abby Bennett, Braydon Lanier, Shawn (Michelle) Fowler, Gage Fowler, and Seth Fowler, two great-grandchildren, Kenerly James and Daniel James, her siblings, Larry (Cheryl) Adams, Mike (Terri) Adams, and David (Paula) Adams, all of Millen, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, at 2pm at the Midville Baptist Church with Rev. Daryl Cox officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church for an hour prior to the service.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Kirkland, Gary Williams, Wendy Underwood, Howie Miller, Wallace Moore, and Dennis Kirkland.
