Audrey Mae (Williams) White

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Audrey Mae White, age 80, of Swainsboro, GA, on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Emanuel Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Clint Sullens officiating and Elder Paul Thomas assisting.

Interment will be in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, GA

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Grandsons and Sons-In-Law: Franklin Ogburn, Colt White, Logan Moody, Eric Landers, Jake Blair, and Joshua Williams

Mrs. White was born July 7, 1939 in Savannah, Chatham County, GA to the late Clifford and Frances Hagan Williams. She attended Swainsboro United Primitive Baptist Church and Olive Branch of Ellabell, GA. She loved reading, crocheting, and making baby blankets for all of her grandchildren and great–grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Juanita Tumlin, Shirley Bunch, and Mable Ellis, and her brother, Remer Williams.  

Survivors include:

Her Daughters: Wanda Ellis of Swainsboro, GA, Sandra Moody of Ellabell, GA, and Margie White Metcalf of Springfield, GA

Her Sister: Faye Armstrong (Tom) of Augusta, GA

Her Grandchildren: Franklin Ogburn (Stephanie), Angela Landers (Eric), Colt White (Meghan), Tori Blair (Jake), Megan Moody (Joshua Williams), and Logan Moody (Kaitlyn Meekins)

Ten Great-Grandchildren
